Great capture. I like different tones of blue and the cloud formation, and how those white-red houses stand out. And I like picture format, I love square shaped photos and I don't know why I always try to make mine 600x600 I just realized it's much better 800x800 like this one :) Thanks for making me see this.

Hi Paul
Lovely bright colours on this island which gives it so much charm. The buildings are so quaint that they almost look like toys. I like how the clouds are placed just above them to add to the atmosphere and not distract.

it seem that the man who runs the lighthouse made himself quite a comfortable place.
Beautiful saturated colors and the clouds look like mountains and provide an excellent 3-d effect.

I've taken a look at all 3 of your shots from this location, and I like this one the best. The reason is that the lighting in this is better, with the buildings showing up very brightly, especially those red roofs. The clouds in the background add a nice contrast too. In the other shots the angle of the light gives a slightly washed out appearance which is not nearly as appealing as this photo. Nice piece of work!

Bonjour Paul,
une photo qui n'a pas le succès qu'elle mérite. On voit peu de photos des côtes canadiennes et pourtant elles semblent magnifiques.
Sous un magnifique ciel qui marie les bleus et les rouges, une scène tranquille, quand la mer est calme.
