In the evening, before supper, we stroll around town looking for a quick bite. This is how they do in San Cristobal--lunch, siesta, a bite of taco, then late supper. The family owns a small taco shop. She asks where we are from. In broken Spanish to try to tell her. She is thrilled about India. Asks how old the kids are, how long we will stay, whether we would like our taco spicy. We try to mime our way through the conversation. The tacos are fantastic. We order more. Delicious fire on my tongue. I soothe it with a cool sweet drink. We chat a bit more. Then I ask for a photo. They are happy to oblige.

Hi Animesyh,
i like very much the atmosphere in this pic !
the Tmax film and the 28mm work perfectly in that scene.
(alway nice to see again that beautiful and grainy result )
those 3 caracteres looks really kind !
TFS.

Great capture- I bet those tacos were good, not like that fake taco-bell stuff (don't get me wrong, I love taco bell, but its not real Mexican food). The grain you added is really nice, gives the whole shot an antiqued feel. Nice work.

Hi Animesh, this family portrait looks easy but it is actually very accomplished as to "timing", how yu caught these people at a PEAK of bonhommie and engagement, also very artfully displayed within the frame. Fine wrk indeed!
