[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I was in the cruise ship approaching Puerto Vallarta early in the morning. I was walking around looking for some photo opportunities when I saw the graceful lines near the the back of the ship. The ship's structure framing the view of Mexico that is the northern part of the State of Jalisco, Mexico. I can almost hear the Mariachi music now, which originated in Jalisco. They say that the only thing more Mexican than Tequila is the Mariachi. The word Mariachi refers to the musician which encompasses the essence of Mexico and its people. It is something cultural, spiritual and traditional that is unique to this country, an experience not to be missed. Their songs speak about machismo, love, betrayal, death, politics, revolutionary heroes and even animals!

Hi Andrè, excellent shot. the perspective is fantastic!
excellent POV and composition with beautiful light and shadows.
thanks, ciao

Good idea for a seascape, allowing the sweep of the ships infrastructure to frame the distant scene. Effective result.

Very nice photo. I am glad that you have saw the nice picture where most of the people would miss it. Nice curves!

Andre, that shot gives an incredible depth to the scene. The coast seems even more far away.

Hi Andre,
Very impressive picture with these curves leading the eya to the horizon and to the left side of the picture!
Nice light too !
Congratulations !
Christophe

Lovely sweep of those curves and the far away mountains well placed between them. Not right in the middle but at a nice 2/3 of the available space. Good work on exposure in the shadows of the roof.

Hi,

Good composition and exposure. It's easy to overlook shots like this when viewing the small previews but you've done a great job.

Well done.

unusual composition and perfect pov.
smooth light. congr.

Beautiful shot Andre! Lovely simple comp. I like that there is no one in the shot too, it gives it that distant otherworld sort of look that someone living through another winter can dream about.

I don't like the border though, and I think that it's just a touch underexposed, fix that up in levels and this will jump even more!

Cheers,

alex

Excellent graphic image - the capture detail and exposure is spot on
