Quel bonheur de se promener en barque sur le magnifique lac Taungthaman, et d’attendre le coucher du soleil, grand spectacle quotidien. Découvrir cet endroit a été pour moi un des meilleurs moments de ce voyage.

What an pleasure to stroll in a boat on the magnificent Taungthaman lake , and to wait for the sunset, big daily show.Discover this place has been for me one of the best moment of this trip.

Hello Pascale,
Burma seems to be so full of beautiful places and beautiful light. As could be expected the boat is perfectly placed, just about to shatter the reflection of the stupa. The picture has a lovely golden, or slightly red, tone.

Very inspiring wonderfully peaceful image and you are blessed by magic light at this late hour and you must be over the moon with this result! Your timing is great, the slow moving canoe makes the pespective and giant stupa is just inviting the eyes to explore around. Lovely effect the border has on this. Almost looks like a framed picture on a wall or desk. I can almost feel the boat moving gently across the frame. This is indeed a calm picture. I like the play of lights (or lack of) on the water. The reflections are made obscure by the ripples on the surface.

Are those monasteries in the background?

the other great addition to the photo is the soft warm glow of light.
the boat passing my adds SO much to the overall visual.
