Photographer's Note
ENGLISH: Perhaps I should have entitled this photo "Dessert" ;) But my mother always said to "look but don't touch". This gorgeous young Sicilian man was selling my two favourite foods; cured meat and cheese in the markets at Catania Sicily.

Ti lascio i prosciuti e prendo l'italiano ! ok ? ;)
Un abbraccione.

Hello Lisa,
Nice moment captured with this opportune angle of view. Interesting subject, in my opinion maybe in colour tones mode is better.

Hello Lisa,
What a fine array of charcuterie and cheese; both delightful ways of starting and ending a meal. I like very much your choice of black and white, which suits the mood perfectly; also the expression on the young man's face. Perhaps he can sense a sale in the offing:-) All in all, a splendid daily life composition. Well done and have a good weekend. Hope you are not on call this weekend.

Why in B&W?
The food in colors musttaste more in it's flavor...
Hi Lisa,
Nice face expression well collected on the " young Sicilian" man, his look as he "agreed" to be in photo.
Cheers

Hi Lisa,
Oh yes, I sense some flirt over there. And gives this image good human touch. Looks an excellent selection. A pity that such small shops are rare in Finland.

Ciao Lisa,
Again, the best food in the world. I remember that on my return from Palermo, the entire trip to Rome I was eating from a donkey salami :P Very tasteful.
Good capture, perfect bw choice.
Have a great weekend.

Hello Lisa,
I believe that sometimes colors distract the mind from the main message of a photo. As a B&W photos lover, I really like the black and white tones of this shot. Well done!

Hi Lisa,
Well, I do love Italian food (who doesn't) and it's great we see some nice food, but more so I like we see the man behind the food, with the passion for it, it gives this personaility, his expression makes it for me.
Cheers

ciao bella, long time no see :)
love the photo, and since I haven't yet had a lunch, the cheese and meat look particularly good, lol :) the quality is excellent and B&W version works very well, the colours would be distracting, but right now all our attention is focused on shapes and textures of the merchandise. direct look of the seller certainly helps to make the photo more engaging, and I see that you follow the advice of some of the best people photographers to get close and personal with minimum focal length. great result, my compliments :)
best,
Kristine

Hi Lisa,
I'm a bit surprised you went for bl/w here. I had expected a colourful foodie festival. Maybe the overexposed bit on the left had something to do with it?
Anyway, I'd buy. Good shot, sure. I like the look the guy throws us and I absolutely love that one light bulb up there. (I know there's a second one a bit further, but I'm not too crazy about that one. Guess I'm picky about light bulbs, sometimes...)
Have a tasteful weekend.
Benny
PS: Look don't touch!? Well, I suppose - as Lou Reed once said - you can't always trust your mother.

Howdy Lisa,
Fine composition for displaying the deli goods in a long angle, then the young man leaning forward with a wry smile. The b/w approach forces attention on details rather than colors.
Congratulations, have a fine weekend,

Ottimo bianco e nero, eccellente nitidezza.
Un abbraccio Mari

Ciao Lisa,
finalmente l'hai postata :-)
TFS!

Ciao Lisa,
nice the B/W shot with all these delicious desserts to be ready to sate everyone. His lustful look was for you, or for his pose in front of your lens? I think that your mother told you the most correct slogan: "look but don't touch".

Hi Naughty Girl,
Yum, sausage, cheese and dessert, what do I attack first? See if I were to take this type of photos, the men will give a dirty look and not this kind of "you want a piece of meat" look. LOL. I'm sorry, i'm getting out of line here. I love it, thanks. I'll be back later, Don't ask me where I'm going!..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................5 minutes later..............Okay, I'm back. It really didn't take too long :)
I love the presentation in black and white. Great details all over, including all the cheeses, Eggs and stuff in there. Oh, I'm hungry again.
