Photographer's Note

Lake Doxa (Greek: Λίμνη Δόξα Limni Doxa) is an artificial lake or reservoir at an elevation of 900 m. Located in west Feneos in Corinthia only 2 km east of the Achaia and Arcadia prefectural boundaries. Construction was completed in the late 1990s and occurred on the Doxa (Δόξα) stream and a branch which flows in the area and empties only to the fields. Parts of the forests was lost but not in the west. For some times, the lake was flooded several times, it also affected the entire Feneos fields and ruined the farmlands of the former inhabitants of the areas. In the heart of the lake on a small peninsula features a small church of Agios Fanourios. Before, it had a monastery named Saint George, due to the flood, it was relocated to higher ground, north of the lake and can be seen.
The dam is in the northeast side made out of earth or partly concrete.
The lake are almost surrounded by forests including pine, heavily densed to the north overlooking two mountain ranges including Chelmos (Aroania) to the north and a mountaintop elevating 1,164 m to the southeast. A field portion is in the west and along the shore which was transformed into tiny swampy portions. The lake are surrounded by three roads, one is a branch road connecting Feneos and Ancient Feneos (Kalyvia) and Panorama and also serves the only paved accessible road with the GR-33 (Patras-Kalavryta) and Derveni and west of the road connecting Derveni and Stymfalia. Not far is the only road connecting with Zarouchla and Akrata with the southern part being in poor condition. Other paths are used for 4WD and hiking purposes.(from wikipedia)

I want to dedicate my photo to Eric (LOOK13), who is a master in the shots with reflections!
