This was taken from the tower of Wawel Cathedral, and overlooks the older part of the city of Krakow.
--------------------------------------------------------
Krakow is one of the largest and oldest cities in Poland, with a population of 756,336 in 2007 (1,403,247 in the Kraków-Tarnów unincorporated area).[1] Situated on the Vistula river (Polish: Wisła) in the Lesser Poland region, the city dates back to the 7th century.[2] It was the capital of Poland from 1038 to 1596, the capital of the Grand Duchy of Kraków from 1846 to 1918, and the capital of Kraków Voivodeship from the 14th century to 1999. It is now the capital of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish scientific, cultural and artistic life. As the former national capital with a history encompassing more than a thousand years, the city remains the spiritual heart of Poland. It is a major attraction for local and international tourists, attracting seven million visitors annually. Famous landmarks include the Main Market Square with St. Mary's Basilica and the Sukiennice Cloth Hall, the Wawel Castle, the National Art Museum, the Zygmunt Bell at the Wawel Cathedral, and the medieval St Florian's Gate with the Barbican along the Royal Coronation Route. In 1978, UNESCO added Kraków's historic centre, which includes the Old Town, Kazimierz and the Wawel Castle to the list of World Heritage Sites.

Hi, Ashley!
I have heard and read that Krakow is a very beautiful city, and your shot is just another confirmation of the fact)
Sophisticated architecture, bright saturated colors and picturesque clouds above the city make the shot a unique one)

That is a very good panorama.
I think I would prefer it horizontal though.
The saturation is a bit too strong for my taste.
But you can see a lot of details in there.
Far left in the distance you see e.g. towers of St Mary church which is standing next to Market square, the largest of market squares in Europe.
In the very right end there are two almost identical towers of the Romanesque St Andrew church in the Grodzka street. Just behind those two towers you can see a fragment of the huge Jesuits' St Peter and Paul church. It has a huge dom, however it was cut so you can see just a front of the church.
Halfway between St Mary church and two other churches mentioned, there is Dominicans' Holy Trinity church.
You can also see among the buildings one where Pope John Paul II started his career as a Bishop of Krakow.

Hello Ashley,
Nice composition with the first foreground made by the trees and just opening on the colorful front of the houses. The color effect works well and made the strengh of the photo.
Yves.
