Photographer's Note

Even in the midst of a blistering cold Canadian winter, the immense volume of water that flows through Niagara Falls defies the tendancy for water to freeze. At the bottom of the falls, however, is where the mist accumulates and freezes into boulders of ice and snow.
This picture is the American falls, and the city of Buffalo is in the background.
