Photographer's Note

Compared with the sea of a mainland, it is blue and warm in the sea in Okinawa. A marine color is cobalt blue. It is in Onna located in the Midwest of the main Okinawa island which passed through Kadena Air Base of the U.S. Forces north through Shuri Castle and Ginowan from Naha Airport here. It is the distance for about 1 hour and 20 minutes by a car. A resort hotel stands in a row in the long coastline, and many tourists visit through every year on it. Marine sports other than sea bathing such as a jet ski, diving, a snorkel, and parasailing can be enjoyed. Compared with East Coast faced the Pacific Ocean, West Coast which faces South China Sea is comparatively calm for wave and tourist facilities are developed. The 26th G8 Summit was held in Nago, Okinawa near this place on July 21- July 23, 2000. I took this photograph from the room of a hotel.

Nice blue seascape shot with the eye catching red jetboat pulling the red pneumatic device with a very elegant S shaped water foam
As concerns the compo I just regret that the 2 boats at the FG are so close from the bottom line of the image

Intersting compostion with the boat in FG..maybe litle bit overexposure but it's not big deal..good combination of cool colors..good job!

Yeah, and I agree with Patrick too, the jetski is quite close to the bottom, anyway, stunning image regardless!

nice the vertical format with the outboard motor boat to pull the plastic one,making this S with the swimmers in it, to enjoy the action.I like the contrast of the blue and the white waves to make the image so effective.

Hello,

I like the composition of this shot in the vertical frame, putting close to the bottom the white comma against the cobalt blue of the sea. The look can then navigate from the people and the sea and then restart again.

The contrasting colors make the shot for me, such vibrancy in blue and white to drag the eyes in. The touches of red vivid colors help the focus and excellent addition to attract the interest. The selected dof is just right with lovely slight blurry in the far end to emphasize the depth and the 's' formation further adds the overall impact. You're capturing well this water scene by a good composition and bright tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see both boats with great shape. The whole is harmonized well by beautiful blue color balance. And, the white foamed water draws out an additional good atmosphere, too. Well done.
