Photographer's Note

Taken in Pamukkale, Denizli.
A scene from the famous Pamukkale (cotton castle) close to the antique city of Hieropolis in western Turkey.
The white formations are typical for this area, created by the waters with high chalk content, dried up on the rocks. A wonderfull attraction for tourists.
The artificial lake at bottom (on street level) is been created since a few years.
