On The Common

And we cross the big pond again and are back in Boston. Here’s a shot taken near the corner of Park Street and Tremont Street on the edge of Boston Common, which is the oldest city park in the United States, dating back to 1634. It is a very pleasant place to spend some time on a hot summer’s day. The background shows downtown Boston and Park Street Church, which was built in 1809.
