Photographer's Note

All winter long, I had looked forward to a good snowfall. Now that it was here, I didn’t know what to think of it. I was glad to finally have some snow on the ground and on the trees, I was glad to have temperatures that did not make it painful to take photos of the snow but part of me kept saying, ”This is when we should look forward to trees blossoming.“ So I looked up at the trees, pretended the snow on the branches were spring blossoms and hit the shutter!

We are still at Cascade Park in this photo.
