Photographer's Note

On this day in October, Hurricane Sandy had passed off the East Coast of Florida. My inquisitive mind sent me to the Atlantic ocean for a look. The water was breaking past this lifeguard shack which is normally 200 feet from the shoreline. Seeing the power of nature first hand is quite a humbling experience. You really begin to understand how small we are in the grand scheme of things. So let your images speak with the emotion of your world around you. Understanding and compassion may be the result.
