Photographer's Note

Noah "Bud" Ogle's family was one of the first families to build and settle in what is now Gatlinburg, a tourist mountain town in eastern Tennessee. Their homestead was built on 400 acres in 1879 on the uneven rocky ground in the Great Smoky Mountains. I was drawn to the greenery and huge rocks framing the old barn.
