Photographer's Note

Ranch life in Texas, in past lives, had been a main economic driver - especially on what is called 'The Divide'. Peering down a cedar fence row, lined with the harsh and rugged flora of yucca plants, cactus, etc - one can see the harsh realities of what many Texas ranchers faced. The land is rocky, harsh, haggard, unpredictable and arid. This region actually sits at about 3,000 feet above sea-level, eliminating much of the humidity that you find in coastal and central Texas.
