Photographer’s Note
Fellow Trekker Danilo Martinez and I visited Arlington National Cemetery this afternoon to shoot the Fall colors at one of his favorite "haunts". He was an excellent guide through the vast maze of graves and superb landscape. I discovered that it was originally designed by the same man who designed the layout of Washington DC—Pierre Charles L'Enfant.

The thing that comes to my mind with this photo is the POV and the idea that the grass grows and withers, the leaves change color and fall, the seasons change and time marches on even though the lives of these soldiers has ended except for their legacy. We look forward to the day when the Messiah will rule the world in righteousness and there will be peace on Earth and good will towards all men. Thanks for the beautiful presentation of this sobering subject.
