My 50 minute helicopter flight over & through the Grand Canyon is probably the most trigger happy I have ever been and left me thanking my lucy stars for digital cameras.

I loved this photo from the first second I downloaded it as the problem I found during my time at the Canyon was it is really hard to convey in a picture its sheer size, and I think this does at least start to do that.

It was only after a few seconds that I spotted the helicopter, this was touched up, sharpened and generally played with a great deal PP to help it stand out but I think it was worth the effort.

Only other PP were the normal RAW adjustments and a little straightening of the horizon (very hard to get that right whilst in a helicopter).
