moi qui pensais qu'il faisait toujours beau sur Monument valley , faudrait que je revois mon jugement .
J'ai jamais vu le shériff John Wayne sous la drache ...

Hi Kristine!

What a light! I love the contrast, and the wide space, free of human presence. I don't know why but the low POV makes me imagine that you was in the position of a watcher, crouching on the ground! Anf that's quite funny to imagine! Excellent perspective with the tubular rocks in the horizon.

Hi Nikki,
The compo and view are beautiful. You made good use of the low sun under the clouds although it is still far from sunset.
The golden red colors on the rocks and the ground are very nice but maybe even a bit too saturated as even the clouds are turning reddish.

Wow, quelle lumière ! Les moments qui précèdent ou suivent une averse orageuse coïncident souvent avec des lumières magnifiques, et c'est le cas ici ! La lumière donne des couleurs superbes aux rochers. Le cadrage est impeccable également.

Wow Nikki,

what a feeling!! amazing colors and intense clouds. But the dark shadows seem so strange, especially the one in the middle. Must have been a very unique situation.

bonsoir NIkki,
une lumière saisissante qui se dégage du ciel chargé de nuages noirs vient ici éclairer et magnifier le fabuleux paysage désertique.
on s'attend à se que la cavalerie émerge du fond de l'image avant que ne gronde l'orage.

A really fantastic light which create a superb contrast between the bright and warm colour of the rocks with the dark clouds is - I think - the best feature of this outstanding composition. And of course the beauty of the place must not be neglected.

the light and colours are stunning, and the way you have composed the photo creates an impression that the dark and heavy clouds are just touching the top of the rock formations, somewhat scary feeling of sky falling. great, really great, makes me leave everything and head out west :)

Hi Nikki,
Wow, that dramatic light. Well rain can really be a disaster or a blessing for photographers. If there is some sun befor or after the rain, that when the light is most dramtic and it can really awaken the whole scenery. Here you got it, fantastic light, heighten by the dark cloud and dramatic sky. yet there still some clearing to show some beautiful pure blue. You really can't ask for better in this condition. Magical really. And off course you ability to capture it make a lot of difference too. Congrats.

J'ai regardé tes dernières photos et j'ai fait WOW!!!
Une composition de toute beauté avec de très jolies couleurs, une très belle présence du ciel menaçant qui donne de jolis contrastes et un cadrage très soigné, bravo à toi c'est du très bel ouvrage comme les autres sur ton voyage!
