Photographer’s Note

This piece of tree probably found its way into Antelope Canyon via the last flash flood and will undoubtedly continue its journey with the next flash flood. I thought it looked like the remnants of a dinosaur that once lived in the canyon. Considering the number of people that march through here in a day I considered myself lucky to even get a shot like this.

Daaaaang, that's pretty Phil.
The lighting and shadows are just phenomenal and the color is awesome. What a place that is. Wonderful sharpness and detail and the composition is perfect with your "dinosaur" nicely displayed. A fien viez with wonderful play of shadows and the dinosaur tree provides an excellent contrast of forms.

Wonderful detail in a marvellous place to take pictures I guess. Have seen a lot of that place but never been there, and I am always overwelmed by the beauty.

Extraordinary photograph of Antelope Canyon, and I can see that my travel experience is lacking. I would love to see this nature's sculpture, with striations accentuated by the grazing angle of the light. Superb!

the colors are a bit crazy but the composition with the branch is very good. Really original as well, I usually see just the stone from Antelope Cyn. By the way I hope to be there by myself in about three weeks.

Good lighting between bright and dark area, nice tones of color too, the branch become a main role against the background cayon, good idea to shoot it, thanks for sharing.
