New Sac

After a number of pictures from Old Sacramento State Historic Park (Old Sac), here’s one of New Sac, the modern part of the city of Sacramento (New Sac isn’t actually used as a name for this part of town). We didn’t visit the new part for too long though, it was a pretty warm day and we still had some hours in the car ahead of us.

Still, here’s an impression of Capitol Mall, the parkway leading up to the California State Capitol, which can be seen in the background, obscured from view by one of the many traffic lights. Don’t worry, you’ll get a complete view of the Capitol building soon.
