Honolulu from Diamond Head

Diamond Head is the name of a volcanic tuff cone on the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu and known to Hawaiians as Lēʻahi. Its English name was given by British sailors in the 19th century, who mistook calcite crystals embedded in the rock for diamonds.
Diamond Head is a defining feature of the view known to residents and tourists of Waikīkī alike. The volcanic cone also serves as a United States State Monument. Its proximity to the resort hotels and beaches of the city make it a popular destination for people traveling to the city. A short hike leads to the edge of the crater's rim, from which point both the city of Waikīkī and the Pacific Ocean can be seen in breathtaking detail. |

Hi Dinakr,
Very impressive panoramic view with well captured details and good management of the light. The composition is well balanced, as you showed us the big city, green coast, attractively loooking sea, and beuatiful sky. The only objection goes on the account of that little pice of concrete (or whatever it is) at the right broder, but I guess it was difficult to avoid it.

Hi, Dinkar. You've made a good use of the available lines to compose your picture. The shore and the rim point towards the city. There is also a good diagonal line in the foreground that underlines the cityscape. The light is good and the sky quite dramatic. Maybe I would do two things: try to get rid of theis white board on the right and maybe sharpen it a little using USM.
