Photographer's Note

This odd assorment of artifacts are relics left behind from the gold mining days. Over the years various forms of mining were conducted here. Early panning and slucing were widely used, followed by electric dredge and finally hardrock mining. While there is believed to be some significant gold remaining, the cost now out weights the benifit. In case you're wondering, panning and other such activites are prohibited in the park.
