Photographer's Note

Just some more of the very unique formations at Arches National Park, each group unique, having been subjected to the elements and naturally sculptured over the course of millions of years. These tall, standing pillar-like sculptures look almost like gnarled tree trunks to me. I guess the weathering pattern is somewhat similar. There are turnouts every hundred meters or so, it seems, because there is just so much to see!
