Lake Powell view

Hello to all TE friends!
That´s the second shot from Lake Powell, Arizona. It´s the second biggest man-made lake of the world. You can imagine how big the lake is, if you´ll watch it in Google Earth or something else. I took the photo in the early evening.

If you want to know where the Lone Rock is that you cam see in my first picture, it is left the frame.

I hope you like it!
Best regards,
Kris

Hallo Kris,
super Licht, super Panorama ! Und eine ausgezeichnete technische Bildqualität.
LG Christian

Hey Kris,

Mark

Hi Kris,

Why did they make it?! Is it a lake for a hydro-power plant? Or a lake for the water supply for some big towns? Just wondering about that one.
A nice combination of the golden glow on the distant shore and the darkness of the water. It could have done with a slight bit more contrast, but I also like it as it is!

Have a good weekend,
Dennis

Kris: this would have been a perfect candidate for the 'large post' category here on TE. Great color and sharpness. best, c

Hi Kris,
You and Mark really make great shots, the both of you have great talent at your young age, you really should do something with it.
Here the crop and framing is just wonderful. Just showing what's it all about, the rest can be cut out.
Light, clouds, depth and perspective, it all looks very good, but also that touch of warm colours look very nice...a great one..!!!
Have a nice weekend, Henk

Hi Kris,

I like this POV.
A very good shot, sharp and a well chosen POV, the composition overall is good.
With My compliments,
Filipe

The second one? Do you know where is the first one? The picture is very nice, with good lights and warm tones. The crop fits very well!
Excellent work, Kris!

Zeca

Hello Kris,

This is very nice, splendid composition with the lake as subject.
I find the colours very nice , soft and very attractive, maybe a little bit more sky would here very well suit, this for the 1/3 and 2/3 composition.
Very well done, I got no reaction on my WS, I hope that you this appreciate! Very well done, TFS.

Best regards,
John.

Kris,
A wonderful big pano view of Lake Powell which I have not yet to go, I may go there this September, not sure yet. Great POV with overall feel of the landscape around the lake, love the colors display in the sky and the warm evening sun illuminating the red rocks. Stunning view. Could be a little sharper, but not bad, great composition. Thanks
Way

Hi Kris,

A splendid landscape and the choice of the panoramic format is judicious. I like much the warm colors of the image, it is very pleasant. Which chance to have been able to visit this superb area. Thank you Kris.

With all my friendships and a very good evening,

Jean-Charles

Hello Kris,
A good panorama view of the great lake!
great moment to capture the wonderful lighting across it!
great depth with nice colour and details
well done
cheers
Tony

Hi Kris,
this is a great capture. Amazing how still the lake looks. Wish someone would have taken a pix of how you jetted through there (it was not very still as you passed)! But thi was taken before you touched water. Sharp, serene and wonderful colors!
Thanks!
Linda

Hey Kris!
Jonas
