The cityscape of Philadelphia will never be the same, with the construction of a new flamboyant building, the tallest in Philadelphia and the fifteenth in the United States.

With its cubic glowing top, the slick skyscraper is screaming for attention and... blue hour shots.

Une heure bleue de très belle qualité. Ces bâtiments aux fenêtres partiellement éclairées sont du plus bel effet. Seule la zone noire créée par les arbres est peut-être un peu trop présente dans l'image?

Avec un titre pareil, je vais me faire du soucis pour tes gouts musicaux lol!
Effectivement ce batiment avec son sommet particulier est interessant. Je ne connaissais pas en tout cas.
Tu n y es pas allé de main morte pour la compression, on voit la moisaique jpeg dans le ciel.

a beautiful blue hour shot. It is a imposing skyline. Also with this cube. The title of the fantastic song from the Eagles fits perfectly.

J'ai toujours apprécié ce genre de vue ! Il s'agit là de décor qui n'existe quasiment pas chez nous. La vue de ces buildings m'impressionnent et je me rassure également de ne pas vivre dans une cité si grande et si animée. Je dois dire que visiter une ville comme celle-ci doit être une incroyable expérience mais le retour dans la quiétude de mon petit village est un plaisir encore plus grand.

Superb blue hour image; technically spot-on. The exposure, colours, sharpness couldn't be better. The patch of greenery on the water's edge is an excellent feature, and although dark there is detail. The smooth water from the slow shutter displays some attractive reflections.

Hello André,

I love blue-hour skyline photography. This one is up there with the very best. Philidephia is a city with great history (a former national US capital city before D.C.?). My favourite building here is the Liberty Place tower which was built to mirror NY's Chrysler Building. At a glance, this certainly could be a slice of the Manhattan Skyline. Icredibly beautiful detail and sharpness here André, excellent realistic colours and definitions.
