What a hauntingly beautiful scene, in which the the Lilliputian shelter serves as a measuring gauge, giving scale to the trees. Bravo!

A breathtakingly beautiful shot! You have caught the foggy morning atmosphere in a skilful way. A good composition, where the little hut is an extra eye-catcher. I think it was a good solution to use a tripod, as the focal length was 70 mm, even that the photo information link shows a wide angle zoom.

Hi Judy,
We spent our first pop-top night in Alaska at Ward Lake; so you are returning the favor of lovely memories. The trip was my first outing with a SLR so I have no Alaska photos are as sophisticated as this lovely, misty composition. Managing mist so effectively takes great skill in light management.
