Crater Lake, a photo from Oregon, Ouest

Photographer's Note

This is a view of Crater Lake from the rim near the visitor center. Although it was July, there was several feet of snow on the ground still, and the the trail down to the water was impassable. Wizard Island is shown in the middle of this picture. The lake is incredibly clear and on a good day, the water reflection is amazing.

Great view on this landscape, the composition is well balanced with lake, mountains and forest in the Fg, lovely reflections on water.

Hello Francis,
Nice composition here using the fine reflection to create depth and balance. The inclusion of the trees in the foreground create a nice border and add more depth to the scene. The lighting is great as is the color and sharpness. You seem to have some dust on your sensor creating a dark spot just above the peak.
