Photographer's Note

I was looking through some old slides and found this picture from some days in New York, 1990, maybe it can be of interest for Te .

We were some colleagues on this trip and had on the agenda this helicopter sightseeing. I think the helicopter was a Sikorsky, it was old, noisy and shaky to travel with. Backing out from the heliport and then going right up like any ordinary elevator from a place near the UN building. It first took a swing around Central Park, and then went down over Manhattan before it finally took a “8-figure” around the statue of Liberty.

Had several shots, but this is a favourite from the trip.

Tech: Original slide (faded and full of dots/schratses), copyed via slides adapter, run in neatimage and treated in MS Draw to make it as good as possible. The result is not perfect, but as good as I can get it.

It's sad that this version with the WTC is no longer possible to make.
