Je suis pas fada du BW mais là, ça le fait. Perspectives bien redressées (en chippottant m^me un peu trop de visu). Une compo ou la ligne de fuite des toitures firment une belle diagonale.

Good choice of vertical and the b/w is very effective.

Exposure can be difficult with shots like this but you have done a great job - some crisp detail throughout. Nice one.

I like the dual tones. Your picture remind me of classic pictures of NY taken back in the time when color film was a luxury. Nice perspective of the giant tower and the glittering lights on the street. Nice work JB.

A beautiful angle towards the Chrysler Building at night, JB. A good and precise showing of the Manhattan architecture and a nice vivid aspect provided by the nighttime traffic and lights. The b&w tonality looks good - as far as pushing the contrast, my personal opinion is that in this posting and the previous one you did a little more than necessary, but it is certainly a matter of personal taste.

Salut JB,
Moi je suis pas trop NB mais je trouve qu'avoir pousse comme ca ca rend pas mal du tout, ca fait tres bien ressortir les illuminations au sommet du CB et la circulation, les deux s'equilibrant de part et d'autre d'une masse sombre, mais quand meme avec un lien lumineux a gauche.

Hola JB,

j'aime bien ce N/B très contrasté qui donne un petit côté vieilli à ta composition. C'est bien vu et ça passe bien dans le cadre urbain new-yorkais.

Sinon je trouve la double profondeur de la rue et du gratte-ciel super chouette. En voilà une photo qui a de la dimension. Le cadrage est donc tip top. Les perspectives rendent également très bien.

Du tout bon boulot. :)

ce traitement est parfait pour cette photo ,il fait ressortir tous les détails et les lumières .Belle perspective ,plus on monte ,plus on s'enfonce dans la nuit ,ce qu'on n'aurait pas eu comme impression avec la couleur

Very good composition. This building is a symbol of NYC and its tower is the only in this kind of architecture. Good POV, framing, great sharpness. The B&W choice is perfect!

Super night shot, superbly turned into black & white giving it a very elegant look.
Besides the Chrysler building a mark of NY I really like the action going down at the streets and the vertical lines made by the succession of the buildings and the small lights coming from them.
