I spend my weekend in Long Beach, I was walking towards my carr when I saw this sculpture in a African Store, but the sore was close, so i put my camera as close i can in the glass and I took some pictures of this sculptures, for me looks so real and I like the colors, I upload the original y and this in case you want to see it both.
The title is because as many people knows the spanish people brings African to Mexico, because they need a strong people to work for them. They stablished in the south, one of this states was Veracruz they mix with the indigenas and now we are results,in fact my grandfather was half African and half spanish.
I resized, sharp a little, hcange to B&W latter to sephia, I put ir a little blur and center the sephia.

Very interesting work, Elias. He seems almost like a real person, but without the eyes, which make it a misterious image. Nice textures and blur effect, although I allways like to see the original version in WS, when changes are made with pp, just for comparison. This is just a small detail, but I also would like to see the figure more to left of the composition. Well done.
