Photographer's Note

I am listening to James Horner's oustanding Movie Soundtrack for the movie "Troy". I thought that the movie was better than the so called "experts" rated it as. I have always liked the character Odysseus. He was the only person in the entire epic with any sense. This movie reminded me of the great "sword and sandals" movies like "Ben Hur" and "Spartacus" that I loved as a kid. My cat is sitting on my lap and he could care less what I listen to or am typing now.

This photo is of "Turret Arch" in incredible Arches National Park in Utah. If I remember correctly it is only a very short walking distance from the "South Window Arch" photo that I posted two days ago. It is interesting how small details can sometimes make or break a photo. Without the crescent moon I don't believe that this photo would have been as effective. Fuji Velvia was tailored made for this type of scenic photograph.
