Salut JB,
Soit tu es très grand, soit tu t'étais perché sur je ne sais quoi pour faire cette photo. C'est orginal comme POV avec ces têtes et sillhouettes qui se pressent contre la grille de protection. Personnellement, je pense que j'aurais aligné la barre horizontale avec le bord de la photo car là on a l'impression que ça penche un peu vers la gauche.

I see two crowds here, one on the fore and the other on the background represented by the buildings. Nice contrast and point of view. The view from this height look great. I notice a natural tilt due to the angle that actually make the image more dynamic. Thanks JB.

Nice work here, the lighting is really cool and moody, going with the hard edges of the buildings and the bars in front of the crowd. i like how you had the faces of the crowd, the river, and the buildings all pulling into the upper right, where the skyline is highest, giving a sense of purpose and harmony to the piece.

A nice view from the top of Empire State, it's interesting to see the dark silhouettes from the head of some people. Very nice point of view, it's difficult to take it with so many people around. Nice try Jb, i enjoy your picture. thanks

Hello JB,
I was just at this site a few short weeks ago and it really is this crowded. It takes forever to patiently wait for a spot to take a photograph here. With the amazing views from this spot it is no wonder that it is so popular with tourists. You photo is wonderful and you did a superb job of capturing the magnificent panorama of the city and the mayhem of the crowds in the foreground. This is a difficult place to take a photo, isn't it?

The same thing as in Paris. Impossible to go up the Eiffel Tower in summer. The queues for the lifts are huge, even for the stairways. And at the top we have to wait too long to be in the front row. However, what I want to say is that we got a perfect idea about the problem of those tourist “mecas”. Well done.

C'est tres bien vu et encore une fois tres bien rendu. J'aime beaucoup tous ces tons un peu metalliques derriere et devant cette strucrue non moins metallique.

Salut JB, quite interesting and original capture of this famous view, with the inclusion of the crowd. This is how busy a VIEW can be!!!! Although I know that the tilt of the structure is natural, I would prefer it completely aligned with the borders. With all the tourists, it shouldn't be easy, though. Well done.

I really like these kind of compositions when we are behind people looking at the view. It somehow makes us feel we are part of the scene. You somehow managed to find a high POV so you could shoot over the tourist's heads, which adds another interesting element (unless you are 7ft tall ;))

Bonjour JB,
cette scène non arrive seulement en été, ici en haut de l'ESB il y a toujours la même atmosphère chaotique de la foule "en se battant" pour obtenir un endroit dans la première ligne, et ainsi pouvoir filmer ou prendre des photos.
J'ai été là trois fois, en automne, et toujours ai trouvé beaucoup de gens, tant quand j'y ai été par la nuit, comme par l'après-midi. Dans le matin je n'ai pas été là, mais je suppose que c'est la même chose.
Quoi dire sur la photo, est une capture magnifique de l'atmosphère de ce lieu mythique, et nous donne-t-il la sensation de que les gens sont à l'intérieur d'une cage métallique en jouissant de quelques vues uniques.
Merci por le partage, ta photo m'a rappelé quelques moments magnifiques et inoubliables.
