| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| I spotted this arrangement of taxicabs and other cars reflected in a curving mirror pillar, and decided to experiment with it. The black car in the front does look like Darth Vader, doesn't it? And of course, New Yorkers see the world differently from the rest. (I was a New Yorker for many years, so I know.) |

Hello Daniel,
Good idea for a funny and very original photo of NY. Reflection are always worth in photo.
Yves.
Hi Daniel,
Actually it really looks like Darth Vader ! Funny mix of shapes and colors, the kind of experiments I love !

Hi Dan,
Indeed, a world of Darth Vader's in this extremely successful photograph. I see you shot the photograph on a cold February day. The composition and light management are first rate.
Warm regards,
Bulent

I guess that the Force was with you that Valentine day, it's not often that Darth Vader is caught unprepared ;)
unusual shot, Dan, but I definitely like it, the abstract shapes and dark colours create a menacing, but fascinating mood. I particularly like how the curve of the mirror has exaggerated the vertical lines, the result looks a little like melted glass. this is very well seen.
regards,
Kristine
