The Met Life building, seen here in reflection, used to be the Pan Am building. The building is just north of Grand Central Terminal, and this shot was taken near the south entrance of the terminal on 42nd street.

Technical: Sized for TE.

Definitively, the reflections on the windows of such big buildings are great photo subject.
The picture is abstract and very graphical with those geometrical patterns broken by the multi curves of the reflection.

Yves.

Hi Daniel,
eye catching reflection on the windows of the building and wonderful effect. Congratulations my friend.
Best regards,
Costantino

Hello Dan -

I can never pass up a good reflection on TE or in the field. I like the graphism of the image with the repeating lens breaking up the reflection. The distortion is also a significant part of the graphic design of this image and works well. Well seen.

Thank you for sharing.

John

Very good reflection and excellent graphism. I love it.
Antonio

I love both the graphic pattern from the windows and also the distorted pattern of the reflection. It makes a wonderful abstract image. The vivid blue of the reflected sky is perfect. Well spotted.

hello Dan,
do I detect a slight tilt here? :) you know I like these kinds of shots, abstract reflections representing all kinds of things depenting on the mood of the viewer. to me it looks like quicksilver flowing, restless feeling, I like it a lot (probably because I'm getting restless for not having had proper travel for almost 6 months). the few black rextangles on the blue wall are interesting accents, very nice work.

regards,
Kristine
