I like the composition, and point of view, and time of the day.
I have a feeling though that the picture was manipulated too much with the software because some colors become far from natural.

Hello Mark!
I think this one turned out to be really nice!
I like the colors in the sky and the position the bridge is in the photograph: we can follow the cars all the way through it, the two towers look great - one big and the other small, and you give us just a slight part of the bay and the banks on the other side, which I think worked nicely in the whole image as well!
A bit different than usual, but very interesting!

I like this pic. I was not that lucky when I visited Frisco. golden gate was covered by mist and fog!

Hi Mark,

Cheer for this original point of view on this famous bridge. Very beautiful perfectly balanced composition I find. I like much the management of the lights in particular on the level of the traffic lights of the cars which bring a good movement. Beautiful glance Mark, well done.

Vielen Dank erstmal für die Kritik!!
Da hast du ja den perfekten Mittelpunkt der Brücke erwischt! Die Farben des Himmels und das satte "Leuchten" der Brücke passen super zusammen! Anscheinend hast du eine ziemlich lange Belichtungszeit gewählt, was wahrscheinlich gar nicht anders möglich war. Die Lichtstreifen passen, finde ich, sehr gut in das Ganze!
Insgesamt schönes Bild!

Hallo Mark,
Reminds me on my own Golden Gate picture takan from the same pov. Taken in the morning with that thick fog over the bridge. Your's is beautiful red with a sky to die for, what a beauty. The long exposure with the head and tail lights is very good composed but most of all in the exposure.
I am thinking of a vertical composition with only the bridge...you have also such a version?
a great shot Mark, you did very well here, you can be proud on it.

Super Foto, gefällt mir wirklich seeeehr gut! Ich weiß hier wirklich nicht, was mich mehr beeindruckt....der tolle Himmel (Polfilter benutzt?) oder diese gigantische Brücke. Wie lange hast du da eigentlich belichtet? War auf jeden Fall die genau richtige Wahl, die roten bzw. weißen Verkehrsspuren sehen toll aus. Zudem super Bildaufbau, klasse Schärfe und fantastische Farben. Toll!

this is a great pov. I love the way the red repeats itself - in the sky, the bridge, the lamp posts and the car lights. I also like the way the far part of the bridge is directly behind the front part. The blue in the water and the sky give you a wonderful contrast for a night shot.

It is wonderful! The sky by itself is amazing with such a red harmony! But the bridge creates the interest with a wonderful rising perspective (multiplied by each line left by the cars passing during the pause)to lead to this beautfiul bridge.

This is a gorgeous image Mark of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. You were there at an excellent time to benefit from the wonderful colours in the sky. Also the low light has enabled you to use a slow shutter and capture the light trails from the traffic. Excellent framing so the nearer support frames the next one. Also the unusual choice of landscape format allows you to include the distant mountains for more visual information about the location. Very good work. I look forward to the blue hour post.

This is an amazing picture! First of all your composition is really spot on. Your point of view is also great as we are looking right down the middle of the bridge. Your good long exposure gives a nice effect with the car lights. And to top it all the colours are just fantastic!

Erste Klasse! Der einzige winzige Detail welcher eine Kritik benoetigt ist eine minimale Neigung des Turmes nach rechts.
Die horizontal Praesentation ist hervorragend und gibt die richtige Stimmung ab um das Rot im Himmel voll in Genuss zu bringen.
Keine Ahnung was fuer eine Oeffnung Du benutzt hast, vielleicht eher im f/16 oder hoeher Bereich, aber Du Scherfe in diesem Bild ist durchgehend und optimal. Das Detail von Twin Peak mit der Antenna is einfach himmlisch.

Toller POV fur dieses schöne Bild.Der Pylon ist perfekt platziert und der Himmel ist einmalig.Mir gefallen auch die Linien der Autolichter dank der langen Belichtungszeit.

The red sky color is surely a good exposure capture to make this view more interesting feature and if you just have the bridge, it will be less impressive view. In composition it is well done, although I also think vertical may be an option to try for emphasis on the bridge on its own way with the sky color still part of it. The long shutter is obviously working well to give the tail lights as a feature for the bridge.

Splendid photo, you are write about what you are writing in your note, more than one beautiful elements to admire in this photo! First of all it's taken at the best hour of the day, the streetlights are on, and the sky has beautiful shades of red and blue! Then it's the wonderful bridge taken from a diferent POV than we are used to and the composition is very original! Congratulations!

It is hard to fine a new point of view here, but I think you did well here!
The different tones of red makes this image special and eye-catching, and the blue spots seem to be there only to enhance the red...
A well balanced composition, well exposed with fine details!

Mark, this would have to be one your best photos I think. Great POV and perfect composition. Most beuatiful time for this kind of photo. I like the saturation though some may think it pushing it a little too far, but I think in this case it works well for the drammatic view. Good one my friend, I love it.

Maybe the best motive is the whole ensemble, the red bridge against the reddish blue sky. It's a very effective and attractive compo, in which the light treks of the cars on the bridge provoked by the long exposure produces a very nice effect. I like also how the pole on he distant left balances the bridge.

All those different shades of red from the lights to the bridge to the sky make for a wonderful image. Nicely composed so that we can still see some of the landscape in the background, and I really like those streaking lights.

Welche Hinweise soll man dir denn geben bei diesem Resultat. Das ist fabelhaft. Diese Perspektive auf die Brücke sieht man eher selten, zum anderen sind Licht und Farben fantastisch. Die Lichtschlangen durch die Wahl der Belichtung ist auch klasse. Tolles Foto!

Hello Mark
You have quite a good folio of the Golden Gate bridge. This is one view I've never seen before, where we can see the distant tower through the one in the front. The red color of the bridge against the blue & pink sky also makes this stand out. And then of course the use of slow shutter speed creating the light trails. All in all, a lovely shot, which if I had taken, would have been proud of. Fine work Mark!
