Hello to all TE members!
For those of you who expected the blue hour shot of the Golden Gate I have to say you`ll have to wait a bit for that shot, this is a picture I wanted to upload earlier, but I just forgot it, so I`ll upload it now. This is another shot of the Zabriskie Point Overlook in the Death Valley National Park, really one of the most amazing places I have ever been to, it really looks like from a different planet. As far as I`m concerned, Death Valley N.P. is the biggest of all American National Parks, I only had one day there, so it was really not enough to see this place in all of its beauty, but I really enjoyed it and I definetly want to come back there one day.
If you want you can also take a look at my previous post of this place, or have a look at two of my favorite images from this place:

Zabriskie Point 1
Zabriskie Point 2

So I hope you like it!

Hej Mark,
No its not from this world I recognise the place from my vacation on Mars last year :). I rather prefer this shot to a well known bridge over a classical sound. Amazing nature here!

Hi Mark, beautiful view, realy unuusal landascape, well captured.
thanks, ciao

HI Mark,
a good capture of this peculiar place. I like the grooves and the hues of these rock formations. The panoramic format is a good choice in that respect. The rocks in the distance add a welcomed sense of depth. Well done!

Philippe

Hello Mark,
Good shot over a beautiful landscape with it's own natural beauty!
good depth with nice colour and details
well done and TFS
cheers
Tony

Hallo Mark,
This is a harsh crazy world, almost impossible to take pictures from. Seems only at sunrise or sunset the light is perfect, rest of the day it's to harsh to do anything.
It's nice to see that we were at the same location...as all tourists do i think. Because i've been there i have a good impression on the picture, but people how don't have no idea how large this is. A human element on those trails was also were i waited for...didn't happen. It's essentiel for scaling and the composition. But nevertheless you present a very nice one...
Regards, Henk

Hi Mark,
very beautiful and clear landscape shot.Very nice colours and lovely light.

Mark,
You did really great at the time of the day when the light can be brutal for good photography. Love the blue sky constrasting the arid brown landscape. Great detail and texture of the earth. good composition. Sharpness and clarity is all good. I have to visit this place again soon.

Hi Mark,

A still impressive panorama on this American desert. I like much your framing which privileges the foreground rather than the sky. The natural colors are right and the depth is really appreciable. Still a pretty memory of your beautiful travel, thank you Mark.

With all my friendships and a very good evening,

Jean-Charles

Hi Mark,
It is good to see the different POV of this very surprising landscape.
Here, I like the landscape format you choose, the natural and soft colours, and the large place you left to the foreground. It allows us to enjoy the details of the site.
Thank you for the links!
Regards,
Marianne

Hi Mark
la vallée de la mort, juste entendre ce nom fait frissonner, mais quel beau décor dans ce ciel tout bleu, bien vu.
Amitiés

Hello Mark,
a great shot with beautiful blue sky and tonal of the brownsih earth. Giveing a nice pattern to look at. Nice composition and graphic rendition of the phoyo.

Regards,
Foozi

I haven't been here but from all I have read it is certainly worth seeing even if you can't be there at sunrise. From this POV you have been able to show layer after layer of rock formations getting darker in colour as they reach the horizon. Maybe not the best conditions but you did a great job with what conditions you were faced with. Well done

Hallo Mark,
I confess I find this POV less impressive than the other one, but I wouldn't think about using 'less impressive' if I didn't know the place (sadly only from photos). Still a great photo, that I guess that looses much for being so small.
Regards, José.

Ein faszinierende Landschaft mit so viel warmen Farben. Zabriskie Point ist ein unwirkliche Landschaft wie von einem anderen Planeten, daher paßt dein Titel sehr gut.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hello Mark,

The structure of the mountains are really spectacular.
I like the grooves and the hues of these rock formations, also the small part blue sky make this picture very nice.
Very well done, TFS.

Friendly greetings,
John.
