Looks like the coast of Oregon, doesn't it? Except it's San Francisco, and if it weren't so foggy, you could see the Golden Gate bridge on the top left. But it was foggy, which I why I took this picture - to show that you can find rugged, empty coastline in one of the most densely populated cities in the United States. Also, this is another of my continuing attempts to represent the sense of fog.

According to the map, this point is the actual, true Land's End, even though the coast continues south and west (otherwise I would be standing in mid-air, and even I am not that mad).

Technical: In RAW, Exposure +0.20, Recovery 50, Clarity 100, Blacks 0, Brightness +49. In CS3, Smart Sharpen at 100% with radius 0.6.

The San Francisco fog images we usually see are photographed around the Golden Gate Bridge. This looks like a good location for a sunny weather shot too. The trees make a good frame for the atmospheric background.

This fog is very nice and the scene is lovely. This picture has alot of 'mood'. Very peaceful. TFS and have a wonderful Sunday!

Bonjour Daniel,
la brume essaye d'effacer ce promontoire rocheux sans y arriver, il est vrai qu'il est imposant.
Mais c'est aussi une manière de mettre l'avant plan bien an valeur.
Une bonne photo prise dans des conditions difficiles.
Bravo pour l'audace.
