This is the Scarborough Civic Centre Library Branch, of the Toronto public library system. Opened in 2015 beside the renown Civic Centre building, and designed by LGA Architectural Partners and Philip H. Carter Architects in Joint Venture. The building was one of the winners of the Ontario Association of Architects' (OAA) 2016 Awards in the prestigious Design Excellence category. I posted previously pictures of two other Toronto libraries, the Eatonville Public Library and the Lillian H. Smith Library and plan to post more so I called this the #3. An alternate view of this building is in the Workshop.

To me this looks like an unfinished highway construction project, I think the artform of this building is beyond me. I really like your workshop where it looks like two giant Lego bricks. To be honest, I'd the two pics the workshop to be my favourite, the context of the wider view of the other buildings around this helps me appreciate the library more. Great post
