Photographer's Note

In this part of The Rocks you would usually expect to see a few tourists resting away from one of the main tourist areas which is beside the harbour on the other side of the right hand building. Not so at present between the big bush fires and now the coronavirus. It will only get worse, as is happening in Europe, as lock downs increase and with closed borders.
The buildings in this photo are old bond stores (for holding alcohol until duty is paid). The one on the right is from the 19th century whilst the one on the left is from the early 20th century. On the other side of the right hand buildings are smart cafes, restaurants and bars.
Sneaking into the photo, yet again is a bit of the harbour bridge.
