Photographer’s Note

This is around 8.30 on a Sunday morning, a typical outlook from the 7km walking path which is popular with people of all states of fitness. With a view like this the kms seem to roll by almost without effort. It takes around 55 mnutes to get around Canada Bay and back to near the Iron Cove bridge.

Hi Murray,
A beautiful shot with great water wharf and boast - all great colour and clarity although I think I would have used a polarising filter to bring up the sky to match.

Hi Murray,
Yes, I like it, a lovely calm shot. The wharf makes a fine foreground, particularly the way you have composed the shot using it as a dividing line across the centre of frame.
Nice touch, the man fishing with his kids.
What happened with the sky???

Hi Murray,

The diagonal line of the pier and the reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The boats have an effect of scale. The point of view takes my eyes toward the opposite shore line which is giving depth to the photo. The morning light has a good effect on the blue color of the sea. have a nice day.
