Photographer’s Note
ENGLISH: This is a scuttled Hopper barge in Berry's Bay North Sydney, part of Sydney Harbour. It was scuttled in 1948. The park you see to the right is Sawmiller's Reserve, a beautiful place to have a quiet coffee in the morning or a few cold drinks in the afternoon - especially a Friday afternoon as was the case with me.

Ciao Lisa,
a very nice shot from Berry's Bay,with the great perspective that created from the poles of the wooden jetty to lead the eye on the barge.I like the use of tripod with the pause of the sea water to makes the scene even more great.Well done.

Hello Lisa,
A splendid graphical composition making good use of the vertical format to heighten the perspective offered by the foreground mooring posts and the angle they make with the stone wall. I like the glassy surface of the water created by the slow exposure.

Hey Lisa,
Looks like a perfect place to relax! I love the effect of the long exposure on the water, it lends a sort of a silverish shimmering quality to it. Good POV, great sharpness and that person on the bench adds a nice human touch! Have a good week! Hugs, Dasha

Ciao Lisa,
fine work with this old barge. I like the diagonal line with the wooden beams with its white heads.
The exposure is pretty good, have you made some post procession?
Have a wonderful week and take care

Ciao Lisa,

Another brilliant vertical capture.
The poles looks great in the foreground
and eventually leads the eye to the old barge.
Great POV. Lovely blue colour of the sea.

Ciao Lisa,
Brava Lisa!
I like it!

Ciao Lisa,

A magical shot Lisa,
I used to go down to Berry bay when I was a child but don't remember this. I think it was all much more overgrown (or ruins?) then.
The lead in with the posts works really well as with the almost smooth water.
cheers

Hello Lisa,

Hi Lisa,
The cool white balance certainly suits this shot, although the foreground stairs are suffering a bit. The long exposure has really become your speciality, I'll be looking for some guidance on the 6th.
Nice framing too, excellent balance.
My legs, my legs, I can't feel my legs.
Very good capture, your technical skills improve with every post.
Cheers
Pete
The Falanghina was superb, more please sir.

Bonjour,

hello Lisa,
There is no question on the quality of this shot, simply stunning. Perfect exposure all through the frame, all the way to the background, plenty of details and excellent light. The contrast provided by the row of white poles is very nice, and so is the matt water surface. I salute you, long exposure expert!
