Photographer’s Note
On a recent very misty walk in the Valley of the Waters near Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains we descended (steeply) into deep foggy mist. In one spot there were beautiful silhouettes of the trees and in one tree was a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo surveying his misty world. he was a small dot in an earlier photo that I posted but I think he deserved a more prominent exposure on TE.
I did adjust the levels a bit but it brightened up the scene beyond what it was so here he is just cropped and otherwise untouched. (Did try suration to see whether I could get the yellow on his crest a bit more visible but that just sent the mist blue!
