Photographer’s Note
This is snap of a part of the old powerstation in Brisbanes inner city suburb of New Farm. The original Powerhouse was built in 1926 and was out of use for many years, covered in grafitti and decaying by the river.
Now it has been turned into and arts centre with exhibitions and regular performances from indie rock bands, experimental music and performance art, theatre, jazz, chamber music - you name it.
Alot of the old grafitti and decayed parts have been incorporated into the new designs and it is great place to go anyday.

dear Justin,
an unique shot of the beautiful old wall,
this husky orange brick wall and the reflection of blue sky on the window are very well contrasted.
your original feeling of beautifulness is excellent.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Justin
Great write up to accompany this photo as I enjoyed learning about the history of this building. I like how you captured the reflection of clouds and blue sky in the windows. The bricks are also interesting as they are all worn and washed out. Good lighting despite the bright sun shining on it.
Happy halloween,
Tosca
