Photographer’s Note
I took this lying on the ground outside the art gallery in South Brisbane. I tried to get the texture of the flowers on the water as i saw it lying down, the bird meandering in was just random.

Hello Justin,
A wonderful combination of the real and the artificial world. The bird's colours matching so well with the fountains. Very well composed too. Maybe a tiny lack of sharpness and I would have blackened the white stripe which is breaking the black background ?

Paul

Hi Justin,
great snapshop! It loooks like an image from another planet with huge exotic trees... Very well done, the low POV and the yellow flowers give a lot of depth to the image.
Kind regards,
Günther

dear Justin,
a very beautiful picture of the artistic scene,
you composed so well fore yellow flowers on the water, middle strange birdy, back unusually shaped white splays, and black back too,
whole image is really picturesque, and the ambience is so cool,
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa

Very charming compo. It could also be in B/W. I can imaging, that the little story it tells comes across better

hi Justing.
I like the idea and the shot looks good. although a differen shutter speed would have given a better effect on the water drops. as it is now it looks a little blur
but the composition and the creativity are there!

Hi Justin,
You have quite a nice effect here with the fountains in the background which look like dandelion flowers, and then the touch of bright yellow flowers in the foreground adds nice colour in this otherwise almost monochromatic shot and of course the bird is the icing.

Hi Justin, composition in this shot works well. the bird (a White Ibis) is perfectly placed. On the question of sharpness, I think the problem is that you focused on the fountains. I think I would have been inclined to focus on the bird and accept a more blurred BG. Cheers, Steve

Hi Justin, nice composition, very unique and arty. The positioning of the bird to the right of the frame is textbook stuff. The effect of the water on the fountains is great, they remind me of miniature versions of the El Alamein Fountain here in Kings Cross. Nice colour burst too with the yello flowers in the FG. TFS and enjoy your week, Lisa.
