Photographer's Note
[Repost: a little more daring with color, contrast, etc. This repost also goes hand in hand with a workshop alternative crop, which brings out the hight of the cliffs better, but takes some of the overall feel away... I think.]
Eagle Point is part of the cliff shore in Kalbarry NP. Most visitors drive there by air conditioned car, walk 100m to the scenic overlook, lean against the the handrail while taking pictures only to return again to the comfort of the cool car.
A little further and after a steep descent, the coastline is so much more rewarding when seen from below. The rock-formations become vividly alive with lines of color and the sheer size of the cliffs only becomes graspable when standing below. A great place for lunch.
