Photographer’s Note
This is Sydney harbour in winter. I had travelled there for the weekend, what a town!
In the weekend I managed to fit in a visit to the Casino, dinner at the Centre Point tower, lunch at Darling harbour, some shopping at Paddy's Markets a ride on the monorail, a walk in the park and a cruise on Sydney harbour...phew
It was June, middle of winter and very very cold, especially coming from the warmer states. The day on the harbour was windy but there had to be a hundred sail boats out there and the scenery was fantastic, the harbour bridge and the opera house of course world famous landmarks.
Sydney is a wonderful city even if it is only for a weekend.

Hi Jude,
About time, I thought you'd got lost.
The Opera House looks fantastic, the light is just perfect.
Nice work with the boats, you show the action well.
Glad you liked our town.

Hi Jude this is a wonderful - and very different - shot of the Harbour. You've captured the colours of the sails beautifully and sharply and I love the POV. Well done, Lisa.

Hello Jude,
The brilliant colors of the sail (the Italian flag) dominates the scene, with the iconic Sydney Opera House in the background. Well composed, beautifully captured scene.
Enjoy your Sunday,

Hello Jude
Beautiful colours, with the Italian flag in great display here. The opera house is a great feature to the background. Sailing is big here in Auckland also. Very fun to see these Yachts in action.

Jim

Hello Jude,
First off all, thanks for the green star on my MV photo, i really appreciate that.
Second, may we both have a great trip to NZ and coming home with great stunning shots that whole TE is bringing on their knees ;-)
Your photo, i find him a bit too tight on the framing. The boat on the left is cutt off on top and to the left, what a pity. A wider view who have worked better i think, show more of the boats and that wonderful great city in the background. The colourful sail on the right is however a great focalpoint, brings life and joy in this picture with the opera house in the background it looks pretty good.
Kind regards,
Henk

Hi Jude. A busy and colourful shot in which the O.H. has a minor role(if one can say that about such an icon.) I love the sense of movement and the light.Nice to see that you haven't made a U-turn.Looking forward to your N.Z. shots. Klaudio.
