Photographer’s Note
Dangar Falls are south of Armidale in the north of NSW. They are one of quite a few water falls where rivers drop from the New England plateau into deep gorges. Dangar Falls have a picturesque setting with a huge pool at their base. After storms they get very spectacular.

Ciao Ian,
I like this tall pov that exalts the beauty of the place, a complete vision of the falls and not only the throw as she is usually seen.
good job

I have travelled through Armidale several times and never noticed any detour to these water falls. May be a will look after them next time I am in there. It is a very nice shot. Well done.

Hi Ian,
Nice view point. Good shot.
Now see those smaller falls in the BG? Well as a young juvenile I went with my mates to these falls where we got in under the samller falls sitting behind a curtain of water steaming over the edge and down past us - it was quite exhilarating :) Ahh, those were the days living on the NSW North Coast. From my memory Dangar Falls are not far from the small town of Ebor which is 80 ks east of Armidale towards Dorrigo.
Cheers,
Graham.

Hi Ian, this is wonderful - and you've given me another "must-see" place. Where were you when you took this? The high POV is unique and shows fully the extent of the Falls. Excellent depth and the water in the FG is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing it and I wish you a wonderful week, Lisa.

Hi Ian,
A picturesque spot, and a nice high point of view. The photo could be sharper, but this might be because it's a scan.
I see there is some discussion of where this waterfall is. The reason is because there are two falls with this name. This is Dangar Falls, about 2 km north of Dorrigo. There is a Dangars Falls south of Armidale, but that fall is much higher than the one in your photo (it's about 120 m high) and it drops into a huge canyon. You can check them out on Google Earth.
