Black Rock
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Black Rock is one of the suburbs of Melbourne which fronts Port Phillip Bay. There is a paved walkway around the headland there. This shot is of basalt rocks placed below the walkway to protect it from erosion (I imagine). Taken just after sunset on a cold blustery afternoon.
Used CPL and 2 stop GND filter. |

Hello Stephen. Clever use of wide angle and the filters are useful in keeping the color and not overexposing the horizon. Beautiful sharpness and detail of the rock and the small wave. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day. Jusni
Stephen - a good smooth effect on the water - nice choice of long exposure. Its a very atmospheric shot with the blue tones.
Well done,
dave
Hello Steve, Long exposure worked well for you in this shot it has had a good effect on the water, F22 has given you a good DOF. Lovely clear scene with good detail & beautiful blue tones.
Well done.
Thanks

Lovely soft colours suit the long exposure.
