Photographer’s Note
Hi all. Autumn is in full swing here so I thought I might show another view of it from our “back yard” as I haven’t been anywhere to speak of for a while.
This was taken on the banks of the Rangitikei River about 1 KM from home. It’s great to have such a resource close to home for photographic experimentation, and for what I consider “restorative wandering”.
This is a stitch of 5 frames combined in Photostitch.
Photos taken with a 17mm lens (25.5 equiv)
1/25 sec
F 7.1
ISO 100
Enjoy, Paul.

An interesting experiment, the outlook is very creative, this image creates a sense hypnotic, like a dream, that makes our eyes explore the whole scene looking for their details, good work and thanks for sharing.

Hello Paul,
What a contrast, you are enjoying Autumn and we are struggling to get some Spring days in Calgary. The weather has been cold here with snow still falling down today. Excellent perspective from below the canopy. The light is very god in the image and the colours of the season look very appealing. Thanks Paul.

Bonjour Paul;
Best regards.

WOW!! The delicate lacework of the golden autumn leaves is bueatiful, interesting contrast between the heavy trunks on the left and the more delicate ones on the left. I like jose's descriptives, "hypnotic" & "like a dream" I imagine lying lazily on my back looking up at the trees; I don't even need to mess with a camera - thanks to your work.

Wow, it took me a minute to realize what I was looking at. Very nice Paul. I've seen a lot of 180 panos, but I think this is the first that I've seen over the top like this. It's a little disconcerting, but cool. The detail, seen especially in the large post is excellent. That one tree on the left especially is really impressive when seen in the larger format. Very nice.
Thanks, John
