Photographer's Note

The West Coast of NZ's South Island is usually rainy this time of year, but we lucked out on this trip. This particular day started out a bit cloudy, but as we drove down Cook Flat Road, the clouds parted to reveal a stunning Fox Glacier.

Notice the sheep- only one of them seemed to notice my presence; all the rest were entirely busy with more important matters...

Another to thing to note: NZ doesn't seem to have many scenic lookouts, so this road ended up being one of the best places to view Fox Glacier and Mt. Cook on the west side.
